Tasko Privacy Policy

Tasko ("we", "us", "the app") is a project management platform built by Linko. This page explains
what data Tasko collects, why, and how it's handled — including data accessed through Google APIs
(Gmail, Calendar) when you choose to connect those accounts.
What we collect
- Account info: your name, email address, and profile photo, from your login
method (email/password or "Sign in with Google").
- Workspace content: whatever you and your team create in Tasko — tasks, projects,
messages, documents, comments, calendar events created through Tasko.
- Conversations with Parpar: messages you send to Tasko's built-in AI assistant,
and its replies, are logged and may be reviewed by Tasko administrators — for support, abuse
prevention, and improving the assistant. They are not sold or shared with advertisers.
- Google account data (only if you connect it):
- Calendar: your calendar list and events, to show and sync them inside Tasko.
- Gmail: email metadata and content, to show relevant emails as notifications inside
Tasko and to let Parpar (Tasko's built-in assistant) read and draft emails on your behalf when
you ask it to.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (timestamps, error reports) used to keep the
service running and to debug problems.
How we use it
Solely to provide Tasko's features to you and your workspace: showing your tasks and projects,
syncing calendar events, surfacing email notifications, and letting Parpar act on your explicit
requests (e.g. "summarize my emails", "draft a reply"). We do not sell your data, and we do not use
it for advertising.
Google user data — Limited Use disclosure. Tasko's use and transfer of information
received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail and Calendar data is used only to power the specific
features described above, is never used to train AI/ML models outside serving your own request, and
is never sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Where data is stored
Tasko's data is stored on infrastructure we operate directly (not a large third-party cloud
platform). AI features (Parpar) send the relevant text to OpenAI's API to generate a response; OpenAI
does not use that data to train its models under our account settings. We do not otherwise share your
data with third parties except where required to operate the service (e.g. sending you email via our
mail provider) or where required by law.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account or workspace exists. You can disconnect your Google
account from Tasko at any time from Settings, which revokes Tasko's access immediately. To request
full account or data deletion, contact us at the address below.
Your choices
- Disconnect Gmail/Calendar at any time — Tasko stops accessing that data immediately.
- You can also revoke Tasko's access directly from your
Google Account permissions page.
- Request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account, by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where
required, notify affected users directly.
